MRS. TIT AND MASTER FOX
Marcou is an artist who has been creating works for 25 years. He has always had a strong interest in art, whether it be painting, engraving, stained glass, video, film, or even writing. During his youth, he mainly enjoyed drawing caricatures before developing a love of painting.
The artist is fascinated by nature, which is his primary source of inspiration. He regularly enjoys many outdoor sports such as cross-country skiing, kayaking, hiking, and cycling. During his outdoor adventures, he takes out his sketchbook to capture scenes that particularly inspire him. Marcou greatly appreciates birds, as he finds them endearing and representative of freedom. For him, these animals bring life and color to all places, even the most urbanized. In most of his works, one can see a titmouse.
When an observer encounters a work by Marcou, it is up to them to create their own story while contemplating it. The artist attempts to create a unique, poetic, and positive universe that will transmit a beautiful energy and hope to the observer.
Marcou has his own style; his art is contemporary, imbued with beauty and simplicity—a pure and timeless reflection of his many hikes where he encounters wildlife. Coyotes, moose, and wolves shape the painter's imagination. His paintings are created on wood, where he mixes all sorts of paints to create what is known as "mixed media."
